Dear Alumni,

Warm greetings from BTS!

We hope this message finds you well and thriving in all that you do. As part of the BTS family, you have been an important part of our journey—one that continues to shape lives, communities, and the broader region. We are grateful as we witness the increasing number in the yearly intake of students to BTS.

We would first like to express our heartfelt gratitude to those who have been faithfully giving over the past years. Through the giving of our alumni over the past two years, we have been receiving about SGD 60k. Your consistent generosity has been instrumental not only in sustaining our work at BTS, it has also encouraged the Board to continue transferring money to the Alumni Aid Fund. Over the past five years, BTS has disbursed SGD 23K in financial assistance to support our alumni. Because of your giving, lives have been touched, leaders have been developed, and communities across Singapore and the region have been strengthened. Thank you for journeying with us so faithfully.

Allow me to share a testimony concerning an alumnus from the Chinese Department. He graduated in 2019 after having received some scholarships from BTS during his studies. Upon graduation, he went back to serve in his home town. Although his church cannot afford a full-time pastoral position for him, they would invite him to preach during Sunday worship. Each time he preaches, he will send us a WeChat red packet, giving 10% of his honorarium which is about SGD 4 to 6. What is noteworthy is that he has been doing this for the past 9 years! According to him, this is his way of showing his appreciation to BTS for the financial assistance he had received in the past.

Today, we invite you to continue partnering with us in an on-going and meaningful way. We are trusting God to raise SGD 75k; this is 5% of the 2027 budget which starts this September. By making a pledge to the BTS General Fund, you enable us to sustain and grow our mission of Serving Singapore, Blessing Asia.

Your support goes beyond just making a financial contribution; it will empower us to:

• develop future leaders and equip them to serve with excellence and integrity
• employ strategic initiatives that impact communities across Singapore and Asia
• continue introducing and strengthening programs that nurture both personal and church growth
